About The Photographer
David travelled to Cuba in both 2000 & 2003, bringing humanitarian Aid to those in need. On his first trip, he was touched by how much the Cuban children loved American baseball. On his second trip, he remembered to pack a plentiful supply of greatly coveted baseball cards, and some light equipment to give to the kids.
While using film photography to capture every day life on The Streets of Havana, Petkovich fell in love with the soulful Cuban culture. From the dancing & the music, to the cars & the architecture, His work has been shown in galleries from Cleveland to Miami. David now resides in The Florida Keys, but he still enjoys spending time in his hometown, Cleveland.
